SE BMFA Area Fun-Fly Event 27th Sept 2026 at Epsom Radio Flying Club

ERFC will be holding the area Fun-fly competition on Sunday 27th September 2026.
It will be held at their new field in Charlwood near Gatwick Airport.

Details are as follows:

There will be ERFC signs from the main Charlwood road to the entrance to the field

Entrance to the Field is Farmfield Drive, Horley RH6 0BG (51.163939, -0.200399)

Please park as directed along the fence.
Arrival time is from 09:00 with a pilots briefing at 10:00.
We are very close to Gatwick Airport and have a strict 400ft and noise limit so electric-powered models are preferred.
Please will you also ensure that your model failsafes are set as we cannot afford to have any
fly-aways however unlikely – N.B. Models may be checked on the day for correct failsafe settings.

There will be free Tea and Coffee.
