As all those that had entered for Airborne this year will know, the Directors of Sumners Ponds took a late decision and decided to cancel the model show in 2018.
The good news is Airborne is still happening and the two day fun fly (June 9 and 10) will now take place at the Horsham & District Radio Control Model Club facilities.
Our sponsors have kindly continued to support the event and all the flying will be to the same format, due to the increased airspace available we are now able to cater for large aircraft.
Camping is not available on site, but the pub about 1 mile down the road has caravan and camping faclities.
As in previous years we will also be flying on the Friday afternoon / evening once the site is all set up and ready for the weekend.
